The Laugavegur Trail is a lighthearted guide to Iceland's most famous and popular backpacking trek. More than anything, I want you to be happy with your purchase of this book, so know that this guide is written as a hiking companion penned by a volcanologist. If you are not a geologist, don't worry! I wrote this guide to be accessible to everyone. It is for those who hike with their eyes up - fascinated by the landscapes they see and curious about how they formed.
